Future Valley, an artist-designed plaza with sculptures and murals in Brewerytown, is being dedicated Monday, October 21. The artwork is inspired by the interplay of architecture and landscape in nearby Fairmount Park, particularly the ruins of a nearby waterworks.
The project, a year in the making, was commissioned by Westrum Development under a Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority percent-for-art program. Bressi served as artistic advisor, and Philadelphia Mural Arts provided production support with Lindsey Rosenberg as project manager.
