Frederick, Md., is an energetic, historic city with big vision for the future of its public art.
It’s new public art master plan — Connections — is now available for public review. The Frederick News-Post has published an article introducing the community to the plan, which you can read here.
The plan lays out strategies unique to a historic city in the center of an agricultural region. It’s theme, “connections,” is rooted in the community’s desire for public art to provide social and cultural connections between its various urban neighborhoods, traditional villages, agricultural lands and new suburban town centers.
Bressi developed the plan for the Frederick Arts Council. Via Partnership assisted by facilitating an Imagine Art Here workshop.
